Re; Book I am reading

I am reading a book called Guinevere by Laurie Phelan. She is recounting her journey into her past lives as Guinevere. It is a very good book. I got more of where Guinevere was at. She was by no means a damsel in distress. I did not know her father tried to raise her to be a man and was always by his side during strategy sessions and actual battle. Arthur did not want her for that. He wanted to tame her to be a lady. I am at the part where King Arthur finds out about her and Sir Lancelot. I know a little of the story but not the little details.
