Robert Littell

The Company
A Novel of the CIA
Adult Fiction

Follow along with a wide cast of characters as the CIA is set up and sent out to protect the US from communists, cold war, spies, and turncoats. An immense novel that allows you to glimpse the inner workings of the early CIA, as they develop their strengths for the newest game in the world. Enter at your own risk as the book takes you along with it to the Berlin Base in 1950, the Bay of Pigs, Hungary's invasion from Russia, early Afghanistan and the end of the Gorbachev era. Double dealings, double crossed agents, double agents all fighting to win.

Meeka says:
This was a long book, and a slow read in some spots, but once you got into the meat of it, it was a worthwhile book. Very intense and descriptive about the early days of the CIA and it's agents. I found it intriguing and in places memorizing.
