The Kenzie and Gennaro detective agency is no more. Angie left and Patrick is on his own now. Reading the paper one day, he discovers that an old client has committed suicide and now he wants to know why. Getting Angie to help find out what happened to this young woman's life to force her take her own life is going to open the duo to the cruelties of a psychopath.

This was much better than Gone, Baby, Gone, but not back into league with his first three novels in this series. You will still enjoy it and flick the pages fast, but I found it was missing something. Desire to write the novel maybe?
