Paris kidnaps Helen and takes her back to Troy with him, thus is the beginning of the Trojan war. Told from Helen's view, you receive the woman's side to love and war; and the sacrifices women have made to keep love from dying.

A magical story, of true love, war, death and violence. Coming from a woman's point of view, you see the horror of war in a different light. It was a great novel, towards the end, it dragged a little bit, but it was still good.
