A beautiful college student and her friend are found murdered on the heather. Her father is convinced it is because of his background as an undercover officer in the Met. So is Thomas and in so believing he takes Winston with him to discover who from the past wants revenge now. Barbara being left out in the cold, decides they're wrong and starts her own investigation and gets help from Winston to prove her point and find the real killer.
