The book synopses makes it seem you're going to be following James Mallow around, but instead the books begins with the self described losers Walter and Margaret. Walter is in a dead end job looking for love and a real career, meanwhile Margaret is the same and after one disastrous date Margaret's ship comes in. Unfortunately for her, she ends up in a coma and Walter is at her side. Then Walter's luck changes after almost running down an older lady and he gets more than he can handle.
