Well she's out walking in the city seeing ifshe can sell the remainder of her oranges, she comes across a group of men, one of whom is King Charles the second. Charles is taken with Nell, but now is not the time.
Nell blossoms in the threatre and comes again to Charles's attention and now the passion that sparked that long ago day comes to fruition.
Nell Gwynneearned her place in the history books by being the simple honest girl that she started out as. No court in the land could corrupt her or take her from her beloved Charles's side.
