Kabuo Miyamoto is accused of murdering fellow fisherman Carl Heine and the following trial seems to be nothing more than old grudges brought back from the dead. Kabuo's wife Hatsue and reporter Ishmael share a secret past, and well Ishmael doesn't think Kabuo has committed the murder, he still wants Hatsue.
