The American Revolution is upon the Fraser's. Sides must be chosen and just because you know the future doesn't mean that reliving the past will be easy. Jamie is asked to represent the crown and untie the country side around Fraser's Ridge and negotiate with the Indians to keep the peace. A tall order for any man. On top of these hard decisions, a little piece in a newspaper that Roger and Brianna found says Jamie and family will perish in a house fire. Will this be the end or will the future be wrong as the past has been warned?

Meeka's side note:
This one was much better than The Fiery Cross, still though, the skills that Clare has in the past are just too much, but I can overlook that as Brianna played a much smaller role in this novel. I am looking forward to book 7 and hope it comes out soon!
